Million Dollar Winner

Admit it, you probably love to play video games. Some of you would no nothing except play them if you could. Now meet Brian Kingrey. He just won one million dollars for pitching a perfect game on MLB 2K11. Check out his story. I am not surprised that he used Roy Halladay as his pitcher and that he spent five hours a day practicing. Would you have been interested in participating in this competition? Or, do you believe that video games are a waste of time? Do you have a favorite video game and if so, what is it?

Tee: I don't really like sports games too much, so I probably wouldn't have participated. However, I do love video games. My top five favorite games are Bioshock, Fallout 3, Resident Evil 4, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Pokemon Gold.

LaKendra.. Personally I would not not participate in this competition. I don't think that it was a waste of time though because it was a great reward. I don't play video games so this is not something that I would be interested in.

i think that that is an amazing promotion. However, i hate sports games. I love regular video games, but sports games bore me as much as watching sports does.

Madi.. Video games are alright to play, I wouldn't sit at home all day and play video games. I wouldn't have liked to participate in this game, if I would have it would have been for the money. I think video games are a waste of time.

If I was good at playing the MLB games, I would participate in this competition. I don't think videos are a waste of time, it's just another form of entertainment. I like playing the Call Of Duty games because they have good story lines.

Lauren...I think that video games are a waste of time. It does not make sense to me to make so much money off of a game. However, I do commend him for practicing five hours a day. He definitely deserved to win the money since he was so dedicated. I would not have been interested in this competition because I have never played video games and do not plan to start now.

Kristin says... I don't really play any video games, so I wouldn't have been a participant in the competition. I don't think video games are a waste of time if that's what someone enjoys doing. I wouldn't want someone saying what I love is a waste of time, and the things I love doing have never won me a million dollars!

Sheron says…I think I would have joined the competition if it was for a different game like call of duty but he’s very lucky to be a millionaire off of a game competition. For anyone who believes video games are waste of time, this competition proves that theory wrong.

Chris says… I sometimes play Video games but I only play like sports games whenever I get bored. But I would be interested in this competition because I have this game and I’m really good at it. If I would have did it I would have used Jair Jurrjens only because he’s my favorite pitcher.

Ernie says... This would be a great promotion for me. I would love to enter the contest. It doesnt even take that long to play the game, and to win $1,000,000 dollars is a great chance to take.

Jonathan says... I think that's a bit to much I like playing games and all but 5 hours a day practicing. All though I gotta give it to him he was very dedicated. A million bucks is worth it.

I was 3 pitches away from a perfect game on this. I was very angry when I found out about this. This sucks a lot. There is always next year. I at least hope.

I love video games, but I don't particularly like baseball. If they had picked a differant game I'd love to enter the competition. I'm happy for the guy who won, I bet he was the most excited person in the world. My favorite video game would definitely be Mortal Kombat. There's just something about playing as a guy who can rip the flesh clean off of people that really brightens my day!

I would be interested in playing this game. I think it's insane that he won $1M just from playing a video game. I don't think video games are a waste of time. Video games keep me from being bored. My favorite video game would be call of duty black ops.

I am not a big video player game.I think this blog is for boys, i say that because most girls don't play video games like boys do. I seriously think that they are very unnecessary.
