Wow, this is interesting. If I woke up with a weird accent, I would be upset. If it was a cool accent, like this lady, then it would be fun, at least for a while. I am not sure what accent I would want.

LaKendra.. If I woke up from surgery with an accent I don't think that I would be completely upset. I have always wanted an accent so it would be pretty cool. I would just want for it to be a accent that I like and not one that sounds stupid. If I could choose to have any accent then I would choose between jamacan, spanish, or french.

Lauren...I would be very angry if I woke up from surgery and all of a sudden I had an accent. People would then look at you differently. They also may think that you were faking it or either doing it for public attention. If I could have a foreign accent I would like to talk like an Austrailian. However, eventually I would want my down home country accent back.

Tee: If I woke up from surgery with a new voice, I'd be pretty angry. That would be really irritating. If I could have any accent, it'd be English so I could sound cool.

That is really funny. Out of all surgery accidents, at least this one is relatively benign. My gut tells me that this is fake, but like she said, there is no way she could fake this for a year. Its so flawless, its unbelievable that this is a real thing. I would probably want an asian accent, i would never tire of it.

Sheron says…I would be upset only if it was a accent I didn’t want and I think its crazy how that even happened. I would choose to have an Italian or a Jamaican accent but unfortunately foreign accent syndrome is pretty seldom.

Ashley says... I think it's weird how that stuff happens. I would be scared. I would miss knowing what my voice was like. I would probably want a britsh accent. They speak like us but have that sound to it. I don't get how that could happen to the lady. If the accent was for like a little while it would be cool but to live with it, it will get very complicated and want to take a away! You cant understand her in some words. I would keep an eye on it but it is something strange!

Chris says… I think if I went and had oral surgery and woke up from it and had a foreign voice I probably would be mad. Although if it did happen I think I would like to have an Irish accent just cause I like the way they talk. Still I would not want to wake up and have a different voice where people can’t even recognize you anymore.

Ernie says... I wouldnt really mind waking up one morning after surgery with an accent. I would want an Englnad typed accent. As long as I do not die from them messing my surgery up then I wouldnt really mind.

Matt: That is awesome! I love different accents, so I think it would be awesome to simply acquire one haha. I'm sure it could get a bit aggrivating at times though...

Jonathan says... I would sue the dentist office for them messing my voice up. Because its more then likely it can't be fixed. Your voice is your most important asset and if people cant understand you then how are you to communicate.

I would be upset if I woke up with a foreign accent. I like the way I talk, and it would be weird to have a different accent.

My reaction to the video is wow because I never knew that could happen. I would be upset if it was an accent I don't like. If I could choose an accent I would choose the New York accent.

Do all Americans think Europeans sound like mentally challenged people? I mean Jesus, she doesn't sound British. She sounds like a mentally challenged Indian! I do believe that is possible however because it doesn't sound like an accent it just sounds like her mouth is all screwed up... wonder what she's been doing... If I could have an accent I'd get my Scottish accent back.

She is a faker. Her accent is not consistent. She is a woman which equals problems. I can prove that women equal problems. Ask me how.

That would be so weird to wake up to a different language. I don't think I would be mad if I woke up with a foriegn accent, I think it would be cool. I'm not sure what accent I would have if I could have any. There are so many cool accents. :)
