Japanese Inventions

Japan has been all over the news because of the recent tragedy that struck the nation. Today's blog video will show Japan on a much lighter note. I hope you enjoy the video!

Do you watch Ellen's talk show? Which Japanese invention do you like best and why? Do you think these inventions are useful? Why or why not? Do you have any ideas for inventions you think would make you some money one day?

The Japanese always come up with crazy inventions. However, some aren't very useful. The pillows were pretty ridiculous and the noodle fan is unnecessary. The gloves to prevent sunburn aren't needed much either. I don't have any ideas for inventions because I don't plan on being an inventor.

Ernie says... I liked the fan hooked to the ChopSticks the best. It was very unique of a invention. It really could be useful one day in all the world.

I don't watch the show, but she certainly is very funny. The Japenese seem even more willing than Americans to cash in on silly gimmicks. After all, these gadgets might seem outrageous to us, but we are the nation that invented such things as the "Shamwow" and the "Slap Chop".

Tee- I don't watch Ellen's TV show very often, but I do think that she's a pretty cool person. I think I like the noodle fan the best, because I'd love to test it out on some of my own food. As for my own inventions, I can't think of any right now that are better than the girlfriend pillow.

Lauren says...I have watched The Ellen Show before. These inventions are not very useful. There is really no use for them in the real world. My favorite invention, however, was the boyfriend pillow. It is an intelligent idea but I don't know what the point of it is. All were clever but I do not believe that they are needed in today's world. New inventions come out everyday and they are all very unique in their purposes.

Kristin says... I do not watch Ellen's talk show. The only thing those inventions were useful for was a good laugh. They were just pointless. I don't have any ideas for an invention, but if I did it probably wouldn't be a good idea to let others know!

Sometimes, I watch Ellen. I like don’t really like any of the inventions, but I guess I like the fan invention the best. I personally don’t find any of these useful because more than likely they would just end up getting in the way. I don’t know of any inventions that might become famous one day.

Madi says.. I sometimes watch Ellen's show and I think it's pretty funny. My favorite Japanese invention was the boyfriend pillow, I thought it was really weird but really funny. I do think some of these invention are useful, they are all really unusual but they are creative. I don't have any ideas for inventions because there is something for everything now a days.

Matt: I actually have never watched her show before. These inventions seem pretty useless, though the one that seems to have any sort of use would be the noodle fan. My noodles are awfully hot when I take them out of the soup.

Ashley says... I sometimes watch Ellen. She's very funny! I think the noodle fan was cool. It can cool it off before you eat it but the wind from the fan will blow it in your face. I think it's funny as a joke, but I don't think you would want to use it real life, unless you want to put up with it. All of the inventions are funny but I would never buy them. I like them better as a joke. As of right now, I have no clue what I could event. I have nothing in mind right now!

LaKendra.. Those are some of the craziest inventions I have even seen! I cant believe that people have actually invented those things. The boyfriend/girlfriend pillow must have been invented by someone that was single and lonely. The noodle fan was actually very smart because having your soup or noodles to hot while eating them is a common situation. The only problem is that it is only useful if you use chopsticks. I don't know how successful the glove used to protect your arm from sunburn while driving will be. I have never heard of anyone getting a sunburn from sticking their arm out the window while driving, but I'm sure that it happens and someone will buy it.

Chris says… No I do not watch the Ellen show. The one invention I like the most was the arm sock, where you could stick your whole arm out the window when you’re driving and not get sunburn. The reason I like this, cause it has happen to me and sunburn on the arm hurts, but I can’t think of anything that I could invent to make money.

Downing says... I do not watch The Ellen Show as I am here most every day. She is quite funny, and this is a hilarious video! I like the noodle cooler. If I could invent the one product that would make me the most money, it would be something that ties my tie quicker than I can now.

No I don' watch Ellen's talk show."Yes, I watched the video. The inventions could be useful if you are missing your boy or girl friend that much. But I did not care for either one that much.

I definitely do not watch Ellen's talk show. I think the girlfriend pillow was the best. I think they are totally useful. Some people like to sleep in style, which is where the boyfriend/girlfriend pillow come in place. The chopstick fan can be useful because it cools the noodles when your eating it. The glove comes in handy because it keeps a persons arm from getting sun burnt while someones driving. I would invent a fan for spoons(for americans).

Only time i watch the Ellen show is when my mama watch it. The one i like the best is the boyfriend pillow. I like it because it is so funny. I have no ideas for a way to make some money. I say that because most of all the inventions are taken.

I sometimes watch the Ellen show, it's pretty funny. I thought all the inventions were kind of useless. We already have gloves so why would you need them to prevent sunburn, thats what they have sun screen for! The noodle cooler was unnecessary and the pillows were funny. No, I don't have any ideas for a new invention, but if i did I would try and make it work somehow.

I didnt even know that Ellen had a talk show. I think that the boyfriend pillow was a good idea because some girls arnt with there man and they tend to get lonely. There are days where we just need to cudle with something and haveong somewthing that feels like your boyfriend is a good idea. The inventions are and arnt useful some of them are just flat out stupid.
